Our First Family Dog

Our first family dog was a little Pomeranian called Queenie. She was an older dog when we got her. She had been rescued from a home where she had been kept in a room all day long for weeks, and just thrown food. ?when she was found she was filthy and in pretty bad shape. we got her a few weeks later, and her fur had just started to grow back. Her tail never fully recovered- it wasn't thick and bushy like a Pomeranian, but thin and straggly. She was very nervous and would remain motionless when we bathed her-just like a toy. Gradually she got more confident, and became more playful. She had the cutest pomeranian face I had ever seen- she had a rounder nose that the pointed nose of many Poms and looked more like a teddy bear( very like the Pom photo in this blog). She was adorable, and it was hard to imagine how anyone could abuse such a gentle, soft and cuddly little dog.
Pomeranians make great pets. They are intelligent and affectionate.
